In the coming weeks, I will try to get all of this out, but essentially my belief, and that IS what it was, was shown to be in error.
I absolutely still want to believe in ghosts and the paranormal, but I feel I am now armed with a lot more real scientific tools and thoughts. Right now, I can say that I am a real skeptical investigator, or at least a lot closer to it. I will not use a technique or tool without truly understanding it, which will likely mean that all the tech I wanted to gather for this passion will now not be got. From what I have really found, there is no need because there is nothing paranormal about the findings.
I don’t want to turn this into a “good” ghost hunting television show bashing site, but I know that will end up some here. Having read some of the skeptical sites along this line, one that really admire doesn’t quite get it, but he’s more of a general skeptic without intimate knowledge of the specific topic. In the same way that I could probably do a good basic job of disproving an alien encounter, but it is not my passion, so I know I’d miss something. So I’ll stick to ghosts because I know them.
So, that said, hit me with your best shot. I absolutely want to be proved wrong. I absolutely want you to give me proof of a haunting. Make me believe! While I’d say it was hard to do before, it just became even harder.

To geek out a little here, I’m relaunching the Ghost-Fu site using Wordpress as the front end. I’ve found Wordpress to be insanely simple to use and develop a dynamic site. it will take much of the web administration off of my plate.
Since the cases haven’t really flooded our calendars, I also figure (re)starting with a way to make a name for ourselves on the web may be a decent way to get our names out there in the field.
So, this front page will be the news and critiques of existing footage and alleged evidence and our take on it. If you feel we’re out of line with our comments, then please reply. If you feel what we say makes sense to you and you would like to enlist our help in your own paranormal issues, then drop us a line!
I shouldn’t have to say it, but the site will likely take some signifigant style changes over the next few days as I play with the themes and styles etc. to have the format and minimalistic look that I want. Check back soon!
